A flash card is a card containing information usually on both sides, following the question-and-answer format or term-and-definition. They serve as a learning tool when we want to learn something or go over any topics or subjects of our interest. They may include texts, images or a combination of both on either side and their main purpose is knowledge acquisition memorizing their content by training sessions.
Write the term on the front of the card and write the definition on the back.

A strategy game whose objective is to conquer the board with the majority of discs of your colour.
Place your discs with their colour facing up surrounding your opponent’s discs.
When your opponent’s discs are trapped ( or outflanked ) between your coloured discs they turn upside-down and change colour.
The winner is the player who has more discs of his/her color than his/her opponent at the end of the game.
Play with the championship rules or in a simplified mode.

Rules:
The different squares of the board are assigned letters from A to H for the columns, and numbers from 1 to 8 for the rows.
Each player is assigned a colour.
The game begins with four discs of each color placed on a diagonal in the middle of the board.
Players must make valid moves on their turn. However, if you cannot make your move on your turn, you will lose it and your opponent moves again.
We refer to a legal move in ‘championship mode’ when the player places a disc outflanking one or more discs of the opposite color. As a result, those discs flip to your color.
We refer to a legal move in ‘simplified mode’ when the player places a disc in a square contiguous to another one containing a disc, with the possibility of not having to flip the opponent’s discs to consider this move valid.
By making a valid move the discs which have been outflanked by a disc of an opposite color are flipped. We say that those discs lying on a straight line ( vertical, horizontal or diagonal ) are outflanked when they are enclosed by two of the opposite-colored disks.
The match ends when no more legal moves are possible ( usually when the board is completely filled ), so that the player who has more discs of his/her color is the winner.

BLINDFOLD WORD GAMES

Blindfold Word Games is a fully accessible word game for both sighted and visually impaired people, designed for rapid audio play.
Word Games includes the games Word Ladder, Word Flick, Hangman, Unscramble and 7 small words.
The objective of Blindfold Word Ladder is to convert one word into another word by changing only one letter a a time. For example, to change the word 'COLD' to 'WARM', you can first change the third letter of COLD from 'L' to 'R', making the word CORD. Then change the second letter of 'CORD', so the new word is 'CARD', then the fourth letter of 'CARD', so the new word is 'WARD'. Finally change the last letter of 'WARD', so the new word is 'WARM'.
In Word Flick, you have a 16 randomly chosen letters arranged in a 4 by 4 grid. You build as many words as possible using adjacent letters. The longer the word, the higher you score. For example, if the top line has the letters C, A, T, S, and the second line has the letters O, L, D, X, you could form CATS from the first line and COLD using the C from the first line, and the O, L, D from the second line.
In Unscramble, you must unscramble the word. The letters L, E, H, O, L unscramble to become the word HELLO.
In Hangman, you must discover the word before using up your moves.
In Seven Small Words, you must combine word fragments into a word that matches the definition you are given.

Blind Simone is not just your ordinary Simone game. It was designed for the blind. The game's audio will verbally tell you what portion of the screen to touch, upper, lower right and left. Even if the exit button is hit by accident by a non seeing individual the program will verbally tell the user that the app is closing.
Unfortunately I was not able to test this with a non seeing individual. I closed my eyes and tested this app as best as I could. If you a friend or a family member are visually disabled please let me know how it works or what changes may need to occur.
My hope is that everyone in the world can enjoy video games no matter who they are.
